Hello Donna,
The Wells Fam. Research DNA study came up with these people being joined
at the hip. We don't know how or when or what...This is just what came
out of the study. So now we know which families we are not a part of and
which ones we are. We evidently are a unique family....no ties to any of
the lines already researched.
The study showed these people are all directly related: Robert b. abt
1753, Va. ( according to Ohio State historical statements) and m. to Mary
Downing 1778; Zachariah b. abt 1750 m. Abigail Osborn 1770 Grayson Co.
Va. and then there is Aaron b. abt 1742 m. Ruth Wiggins and d. 1813
Nicholas Co. Ky. According to Orin's readings of the study, these are
the three main lines. Also attached to these men are Augustus b. 1760
QueenAnne Co. Md. m. Ludy Doolittle; Joseph b. 18 Feb. 1768 Pa. m. 14
Jul. to Sarah Farquhae; Thomas b. 1740 Pa.,and William b. 26 Oct.1791,
Pa. m. 31 Jan.1813 to Martha Langhead and they wound up in Zanesville,
Muskingum, Ohio.
As to whether this is your Joseph, I can't help you with that...only your
research will tell you that. Did a Wells male member of your line enter
the study? Good luck...If I can be of any more help...just write
me....Carol

Hi Carol,
How do you know Joseph is your line? I ask because I am searching
for his info including his parents and birthplace. He is my 4th
great grandfather. I do have some info about his children.
