Dear Virginia, The definitive information you seek is on pages 83 and 84
of Volume I of George Olin Zabriskie's 1963 genealogical account called
"The Zabriskie Family". He was born 15 June 1771, probably at Paramus,
the son of Andries A. Zabriskie (1746-1771) and Jannetje Lozier (1751-?).
On 21 July 1793 in the Schraalenburgh Dutch Church "Andries Zabriskie and
Elizabeth Anderson" were married. Elizabeth Anderson (1774-1852) was the
daughter of David Anderson and Antje Demarest.
Andries A. Zabriskie 23 June 1836, and it was proved 15 June 1837. Among
others mentioned in is will is his wife Elizabeth and his daughter
"Elizabeth, wife of (Dr.) Garret Terhune.
On page 196 Zabriskie tells us that Gerret Terhune was the son of Richard
Nicholas Terhune and Hannah Van Voorhees. Elizabeth Zabriskie and Gerret
Terhune were married on 19 Mar 1828 in the Hackensack Dutch Church.

I recently bought a picutre in Wisconsin of a man and it says:
"Andrew Nabriskie
Born July 24, 1772
Father of Elizabeth Anderson
wife of Dr. Garrit Terhume"
A lady from the Terhune mailing list said that perhaps I have a
Terhune-Zabriskie relationship here. This picture, plus a picture of a
woman, came from the same antique dealer who bought them from a man as a pair.
Can anyone provide more definitive information for me?
