My great-grandmother was Mary (Dolly) Storm of Jackson Co. MI. She was a female
photographer around the turn of the 19-20th Century.
A while back looking at an OLD map on the "Old map site" (sorry, can't
remember the true name but it is VERY interesting) I cam across a map of NY about 1700>
? that had the notation "Storm's" on the west side of the Hunson River
across from Terrytown or thereabouts; no other info but it was located at the intersection
of the only roads in the area.
I am thinking it was an inn/tavern as the Storms had been inn-keepers for almost every
generation (never skipped more than one gen.) since leaving Holland; in fact, they were
innkeepers in Holland.
Anyone know anything about this?
Eli
