Hello All,
New to the list and as I am relatively unfamiliar with local Welsh
research, would like to seek readers advice regarding possible
existence and location of Swansea records.
Specifically searching for Joseph and (possibly) Helen
DARRAH/DARRAGH/DARRA, known to be living in Rhondda Street, Swansea
circa 1914. What type of local records are in existence that might
include this address and occupants?
It is possible that this couple emigrated to USA some time after 1914
- a lead yet to be fully followed. I have not been able to find a
record of the death of Joseph and Helen in the National records.
DARRAH (Irish) is a relatively uncommon surname in England and I
have yet to come across it in relation to Wales, if any reader has
"spotted" it in Wales or can suggest a way forward, I would be
grateful
Regards to all.
