Hi Marg
Just seen your message, and asked my 86 year old father. He remembers both
Rachel and Erasmus and believes their surname to be Jermain or something
sounding similar, they had a son named Roy who later ran the pub. If I hear
anymore I'll let you know.

Subject: [Swansea] Angel Inn (Swansea Town)
Dear Listers
I am a new subscriber to the list and would be grateful if anyone has
knowledge of the following establishment, which appears on the 1901 UK
Census:-
The Angel Inn (Public House)
131 Carmarthen Road
Swansea Town
The Ecclesiastical Parish was St Peter and the Municipal Ward: Brynmelin.
I didn't appear to exist in 1881? and I can't find any record of it now.
I'm particularly interested in the Rachel and Erasmus (surname currently
unknown) who I led to believe, ran the pub in the 1950's.
Any help would be most appreciated and thank you in advance.
Marg
