Hi Ron,
Thanks Ron, when I get chance I'll see if any of them connect.
I'm researching Burrett (Battersea), Gurney (Willesden), Nesbitt (Newry,
County Down), Davenport (nee Adams, (Aston-under-Lyne, Lancaster), McClure
(married my Nesbitt), Heywood (married my Burrett), Perry (married my
Gurney), Grell, Barrass, & Bowers. My main lines are Burrett Nesbitt &
Grell.
As you can see I'm kept pretty busy :)
Regards
Christine

Hi, Christine,
Saw you query regards the name Fisher and that you live in Queensland. I
have
family in Queensland and last year I obtained a copy of The Bundaberg
&
District Pioneers Book. In the Directory part of the book there are
several
Fishers mentioned so I thought I would send them on to you just in
case
they
are yours.
1. George James Fisher, born circa 1863, he was a railway fireman and in
June
1898 he was residing at the Railway station, North Bundaberg.
2. Henry Fisher, in 1875 he was in the Bundaberg district.
3. Isaac Fisher, in the Bundaberg electoral register of August 1894, he is
marked as 'left'.
4. James Fisher, in October 1887 he was living on Walla Street, Bundaberg.
5. James Ashworth Fisher, son of James Fisher was born circa 1868 at
Bradford, Yorkshire. He died at Woondooma Street, Bundaberg in December,
1898, and was buried at Bundaberg on the 14th of December, 1898. He was a
labourer and resided at Bundaberg.
6. William Fisher in October 1887 he was living on the Bingera Plantation.
These are the only entries in the book. Hope they help your research.
Best wishes,
Ron Hamilton.
