I thought the name rang a distant bell. I research Chapman and Pennell from
Swansea - and of course their spouses.Please check whether any of the names
at the end of this email are reflected in your trees.
Eliza Annie Matthews born abt 1864 married William Lowden Pennell in St
Peters Church Swansea 1st May 1892. They had a daughter Annie Lowden Pennell
who only lived to the age of 5. A year later in 1899 William died in the
Union Workhouse.I do not know what happened to Eliza Annie.

Hello all.I have found a reference to the above Sarah MATTHEWS of
Oystermouth, who died in 1836.The "Will"is # 176 and the I.D;23272.
Can anyone tell me where I can get this "Will"from Please?Is it from
Aberystwyth?And if so,What is the Proceedure,and cost?
Incidently,Sarah MATTHEWS lived to be 101.[born in 1735]She is buried in
Oystermouth Churchyard,and is related to me.Her Maiden Name being
"SAMBROOK".
