The Dyfed list covers Llanelly.
I think you need to find Agnes Mainwaring's birth using FreeBMD to get
a better idea.
I see there was an Agnes Mainwaring in Pontypridd in 1905 , and an
Agnes Mary in West Ham 1903.

My thanks to Jeff Coleman for his message and advice. The point about
WW1 ex soldiers and hairdressing was interesting.
I really have no idea where Agnes Mainwaring was born, I just found the
hairdressing link, perhaps wrongly ! Her husband Richard Whitfield was
my late father's step brother born 1901 from their father (Richard
senior)'s first marriage. I had never heard of him before until the
1901 census came out so am determined to find out more. He died age 29
in 1931 and have found one child born to the couple but he died at 5
months. I feel sure there would have been more children between the
marriage in 1924 and Richard's death in 1931.
Kind regards, Pauline
