Jenny,
I am hunting David W. DAVIES, b. aby 1800, his brother Daniel DAVIES b. abt. 1810. David
was married to Mary Ann and they had at least 3 children--Thomas D., John, and Sarah.
Thomas D. DAVIES was b. abt 1822 and had at least 2 children b. Wales--David and WIlliam.
All were in the US by the 1840s, with David W. DAVIES coming first--possibly even to Nova
Scotia before the US. All the men were copper smeltermen.
Daniel, at one time, lived in Pontarddulais (actually Llwyn Adam, which I have learned was
a farm).
Let me know if these ring any bells.
Thanks!
Mona

I am tracing my family tree and if you have any information on the above
names in the Swansea area, I'd be grateful to hear from you.
Many thanks,
Jenny
