Thank you very much - not a lot of extra information, but the wording
made me look again at my records. I have a record for a marriage
between the same couple 3 weeks earlier in Glasgow - same info from the
IGI transcribed parish records and Scotlandspeople, and I had assumed
that the Cambrian entry was a notation of the Glasgow ceremony
With a second marriage in Swansea I can send for the certificate and
that should have some more clues...
And I can probably get the film of the parish register, now that I know
which church.
It never ceases to amaze me that I can get a British certificate faster
and cheaper than a Californian one.
