Marilynne -
The name Fuel Road was changed to Pentreguinea Road in about 1890. The name
has stayed the same since then.
I believe there was a place called "Fuel House" or something similar in the
vicinity.

I was interested to read the message from Barry requesting some
information about baptisms in the St Thomas area - I notice that two of the
addresses were in Fuel Road, St Thomas. Would these roads be anywhere near
an area known in the early 1920's as 'Atlantic Fuel' ??
Any information regarding this area would be most appreciated.

I'd be grateful if anyone could look up baptisms for the following:
Matthew John DAVIES, b. 13 Apr 1882 Watkin St, Swansea Town
Bertie DAVIES, b. 17 Oct 1887, Fuel Rd., Swansea St Thomas
Ada Gertrude DAVIES, b. 5 Feb 1890, Fuel Rd., Swansea St Thomas.
