Rowland Higgs was buried in a common grave. The Plot number is: 513 section
L
There are 8 others buried in the same plot, I believe un-related to Roland
dating from 1895 till the 1920s
I did not get their names, but they are freely available from the local
County Hall, burial dept in Swansea.
I will take a look if I can find the plot and send you on a plan of the
Cemetary.
Incedentally No 2 Danygraig Terrace is still there, and is only 2 doors away
from the main cemetary gates, the houses have been renumbered since 1920s. I
ll come back to you with info on house number etc.
Take Care

Subject: [Swansea] Danygraig Cemetery
A new lister here . . . Might anyone out there be able to tell me if there
is an index to the Danygraig Cemetery in Swansea? I¹m trying to locate the
gravesite of my great-grandfather, Rowland Higgs, who died at #2 Danygraig
Terrace, East, in Swansea in December 1920.
My mother and I from western Canada plan to visit the area late this spring
and would like to visit his grave, if we can find it. He and his family
were in Saskatchewan from about 1906 to 1912 but became estranged and they
lost track of him. I¹ve obtained a death certificate through the GRO and he
apparently was working as a storekeeper at the shipbreaking yard when he
died.
Any suggestions, comments or observations would be greatly appreciated.
