In 1891, in the parish of St Peters, cockett, there lived the followoing:
piece 4471 folio 108 schedule 70 Rose Cottage ( I think that's what it
says, it's not very clear)
DAVIES John Joseph head married aged 22, coal miner born Swansea
DAVIES Elizabeth, wife married, aged 20 born Swansea
DAVIES WILLIAM J, son, aged 1, born Swansea
could she have died and he remarried before 1901?
There is another DAVIES family at the same address, schedule 69, headed by
David Davies, blacksmith, could be his father?
there's nothing else close to your specification in the 1891 for Swansea
