Hi Jeff,
I sent a request for information regarding copies of the records you
mentioned.
I believe Rowland was married 3 times; 1st to a Mary, 2nd Harriet and lastly
Elizabeth. Capt. Rowland Williams is my Gr Gr Great Grandfather. He had a
son ,Albert, by his first wife Mary. Albert Williams married Sarah Nash and
had a son Albert David Williams my Great Grandfather. Sarah was pregnant
with Albert David at the time she lost her 2 year old son; my Great
Grandfather was probably named after the child she lost.
Albert David Williams b. 1872, and his wife Margaret immigrated to the U.S
in 1896 via Ellis Island and had a family of seven children (Kemmerer,
Wyoming).
My mother knew very little about her grandfather's family, other than Albert
David was raised by his mother's family (Nash) and that both sides of the
family were mariners. She stated that her grandfather (Albert David
Williams) had a scar on his back that he would show to all of the
grandchildren; speared somewhere around the Horn of Africa.
Thank you Jeff.
Carolyn Stewart

to
legal opening hours, lost his license and became bankrupt.
He appears twice in the Swansea Mariners database , on the Isabella and
