Hi to you all.
Trying to find ways to crumble a 15 yr old brick wall.
Would appreciate a look up for the following family group, or any member
of it.
The boy is whom I am interested in. I am hoping he turns out to be
Thomas Morgan WILLIAMS who was born in Bristol in 1873 to Mary WILLIAMS,
no father mentioned.
In 1881 Census

HAWKINS Samuel - h - mar - 28 - carpenter - b Gloucester
HAWKINS Nanny - w - mar - 32 - b Newport Mon
WILLIAMS Mary - mothinlaw - wid - 65 - b Perranarworthal, Cornwall
WILLIAMS Thomas - vis - unm - 7 - scholar - b England.
I am hoping Mary is Thomas's grandmother, our Thomas M lived in Bristol
and worked at Temple Meads station, spoke with a Welsh accent, he was my
husbands Grandfather. Family story is, he was taken in by somebody, but
never officially adopted, legal adoption hadn't started this far back.
Any help or advice greatly appreciated

Hi Folks,
This is my first visit to your list.
First may I apologies for being verbose, but there is no simple way of
explaining my problem.
I am seeking EVAN OWEN PRICE
I know that he married SARAH JANE SAVAGE born 1880 (calculated from 1881
Census) in Clarbeston, Pembroke , Wales.
They had to my knowledge only one son - REGINALD SAVAGE PRICE born 24/3/1907
in Teglum, Robeston Wathen, Pembroke.
Reginald's birth certificate, providing the above details.
A search of the 1881 Census found only one EVAN PRICE aged 6, who was living
in ST James St, Narberth, with his grandmother - MARY HARRIES and Great
Grandfather - THOMAS MORGAN
On the assumption that this was my Evan, I commissioned a PRO search for his
birth certificate (I live on a tiny dot in the Mediterranean, and cannot do
my own searches), but to no avail. Either his stated age (at census) is way
out or he was not born in Narberth or Pembroke come to that.
I have no knowledge as to the whereabouts of EVAN'S mother or father at the
time of the 1881 census!
They were not in Pembroke as far as I can ascertain!
It has been suggested to me that they may have strayed into Swansea?
Hence I am seeking any help you may be able to offer

Hello,
This is my first posting to the list.
My interest is in David BOWEN, a furnace man, from Swansea, who married
Alice SELF in 1886.
They had a son, William Cyril BOWEN born Swansea 1887.
In the 1891 Census for Burry Port area, Carmarthenshire, William Cyril
BOWEN, aged 3, is listed as a lodger at the home of my
great-grandparents, David and Mary DAVIES (nee THOMAS), in Hands Row,
Dyfatty. Where are his parents, David and Alice BOWEN?
Any help re this couple would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Cynthia Collison
