Kathy,
This is the only Lovett family in the relevant area. I have included the
other names as it is difficult to tell exactly who lives in a particular
dwelling as it doesn't give the "head of household". There could be two
dwellings of the same name in this instance. On the 1841 Census ages are
rounded down to 5 and 0 for those over sixteen and under sixty therefore the
ages for Joseph and Anne should be correct although the rules were not
always followed.
Hundred of Llanbedr Painscastle
Parish of Clyro
Reference: HO107:1456: ED 1 & 2
LOVETT, Joseph, 85, Carpenter, Y, Henlar..y, f25/p15
LOVETT, Anne, 75, Y, Henlar..y, f25/p15
WATKINS, Mary, 40, Y, Henlar..y, f25/p15
WATKINS, Amelia, 13, Y, Henlar..y, f25/p15
WATKINS, Andrew, 7, Y, Henlar..y, f25/p15
I found the information on the CDRom for the Radnorshire 1841 Census issued
by the Powys Family History Society, it is a wonderful aid to research.

Margaret Harvey

Would some kind soul have the census for Clyro for 1841 and be able
to
tell me if any Lovetts were living there or in Llanbedr Painscastle or in
Llandeilo Graban? I am particularly interested in a Joseph Lovett and a
William Lovett. Thank you kindly,
Kathy Wright
