Following on from Phil's mention of Powys FHS Fair, members of the
Shropshire Family History Society will be manning(/personing?) a stand
there.
After the excitement of the last fair I attended, I sadly won't be able to
make it to Welshpool. The excitement was where a lady asked if I had any
more information on LEIGHTON's of Wrockwardine, SAL, I said yes my F-I-L
descends directly from them, she was surprised, then her husband, even
though I was on the Shropshire FHS Stand, asked if I knew anything of Thomas
& Mary WILLIAMS from Maen, Meifod and I said yes they were my GGP's, they
were his GGGP's - hello Cousin! So, if you can, it is always worth going to
fairs, you never know what will turn up.

Subject: [WLS-RAD] George Bufton
The Radnor list seems to have gone quiet again, so in the run up to the
Powys FHS Fair which my wife heather and myself are organising, we have done
everthing now, all publicity is out and just waiting for this Saturday at
the Flash Leisure Centre at Welshpool, from 10am - 4pm, just in case you
were in the dark about it.
I am looking for any info on George Bufton, born 1882, supposedly at
Discoed, Radnorshire, son of William Bufton, born 1853.
Phil Bufton
