Dear Dennis,
Yes, he was from Cefnllys and his parents were Thomas & Ann Davies.
As a native of that district and as it's professional genealogist I have all of those
records including the registered births, death etc as well as the Parish records....
best wishes
Richard

Subject: New Subscriber Interests DAVIES-Cefnllys
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the Radnorshire list and would like some
assistance with my Gt Grandfather and his parents.
I have found him on the 1881 census, he is married and
living at Cefnllys with a stated birthplace of Cefnllys.
His name is Theophilus DAVIES and I would like to ask if
anyone has access to either the 1851 or 1861 census's and would be able to locate him
for me, hopefully living with his parents, he was 38 in 1881 so that would make him about
8 in 1851 and 18 in 1861. I believe that his wife's name was Esther MORRIS born
Lyonshall, Hereford but I wouldn't think that he would be married on either of those
census's.
My most grateful thanks in advance to anyone who can help
me,
Best regards
Dennis Perry
