Hi Ted,,
It took me a while but I found it at last. It is written as
Llanbadarnfynydd, one word!!
I found it first on my old one inch reprint of the Ordnance Survey dating
back to the early 1800s so couldn't understand why it was missing. I used
the new 3.0 Viewer on the Census but still no luck. The problem is that the
spelling has to be exact.
I had the same problem when I couldn't find Stoke-on-Trent. It came under
Stoke-upon-Trent.
Try Llanbadarnfynydd and it you have no luck get back to me.
Regards,
Margaret H

Margaret
Many thanks for your reply. I think we have spoken before.
The problem I have is that I cannot find any reference to Llanbadarn
Fynydd
in the 1881 census so I'm wondering if it was known by another
name at
that
time.
