Radnor Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, when his will was proved; m.
28 June 1688, "... in the home of John EVANS of Radnor (Delaware County),
Pennsylvania ..." Sarah EVANS, b. ca. 1666, Merionethshire or Radnorshire,
reputed to be the dau. of the said John EVANS.
Their granddaughter, Mary MILES, b. 25 October 1727, Radnor, Delaware County,
Pennsylvania, the dau. of Richard MILES and Phoebe DAVIS; m. 22 May 1752,
Tredyfrin, Chester County, Pennsylvania, Rowland RICHARDS, b. 29 October 1728,
Tredyfrin, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
Rowland RICHARDS was the s. of Samuel RICHARDS, b. 07 August 1700, Tredyfrin,
Chester County, Pennsylvania; m. ca. 1726, Elizabeth EVANS, b. 20 August 1700,
Gwynedd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Samuel RICHARDS was the s. of Rowland RICHARDS, b. 05 April 1660, Gwynedd,
Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; m. Catherine JONES (no further information).
Elizabeth EVANS was the dau. of Owen EVANS, b. ca. 1659, Merionethshire.
Most of these people were Quakers in Pennsylvania, in whose records the Welsh
connections are made.
