Thanks. I'd already found them in the Herefordshire FHS index CD (daughter
Jane, my 3g grandmother, was later listed as born Huntington, HEF) for 1851,
which obviously overlaps, & the Powys FHS Radnorshire 1841 census CD. They
also had older daughters. Probably married in the late 1820s.
If the Radnorshire Marriage Index is only accessible to members I think I
may be joining soon.

Paul,
Found these in Powys FHS 1851 Census index CD
HERGIST James, h, m, 56, ag lab, RAD Old Radnor, Llanbella, 2492/f132/p18
HERGIST Jane, d, -, 14, scholar, RAD Gladestry, Llanbella, 2492/f132/p18
HERGIST Levinia, d, -, 2, scholar, RAD Gladestry, Llanbella, 2492/f132/p18

Going by the age of daughter Jane they may be just in the 1754-1837 index.

1795, according to census data. Mary MORRIS (my ancestor in the
direct
female line, which I'm very keen to trace further back) was born in
Llandewi, Radnorshire, about 1806. I've not found their marriage, or
either
of their births. Can anyone help?
