Hi,
I am researching my Hamer family in this area of Radnorshire and in
Montgomeryshire but my connection with Llanbadarn Fynydd appears to be
earlier than your dates. There are several different Hamer lines in mid
Wales. I would be delighted to hear more.
We have a Hamer rootsweb list and I could post it on there for you, let me
know.
Regards,
Margaret Harvey

Seems a shame to leave it unreported so here is what I came across a few
days ago.
A very sturdily built, well preserved, 4 - wheeled farm or Carryers wagon
(cart ) - circa late 1800s to early 1900s - and still all
original.,....even to bearing in 2" letters its original owners
address.....viz:-
Thomas HAMER. Lower Escair. LLANBADARN FYNYDD. Radnorshire.
There HAS to be a researcher in Wales whose g.g. g/father looked upon this
vehicle with pride & joy !!.......so, if you are, or think you might be,
that person, then come back to me for the full details.
For the benefit of those others who could also be interested in the
replies
contact me through the List, please.
Regards,
Lakhri in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
