Dear John,
Many thanks for the images of Llananno, your timing couldn't have been better as far
as I am concerned. We had hoped to visit the Local and Family History Fair today at
Llandrindod Wells today but unfortunately can't make it. We then intended looking
around the church at Llananno as it has strong connections with my ancestors. One of
them was a Richard Hamer who was born in Llanbadarn Fynydd in 1689 but then moved to
Llananno and was known for the rest of his life as Richard of Llananno. My Mills family
lived in Llananno from the middle of the nineteen hundreds until fairly recent times.
The photographs are wonderful and I am looking forward to visiting as soon as possible and
wandering around the graveyard in search of ancestors' graves as well as looking
inside. I expect that like most churches these days it is kept locked, is there a notice
to say where the key can be found?
Once again many thanks, I always look forward to your contribution on a Saturday morning.
Regards,
Margaret Harvey
