Joanne,
Ann was not born in Llanyre that I can categorically tell you. On each census
she gives a different place of birth and it took me some time to finally find where indeed
she did come from. The
family moved around a lot in between the census years..
best wishes

Hello everyone
hoping there is sks who has access to anyof the early censuses for LLANYRE RADNORSHIRE
I have found that my 3xgt grandmother gave her birthplace as LLANYRE in the 1881 census,
FOR LLANAFAN FAWR BRECON she was then 84
Unfortunatly i do not know her maiden name but she was ANN WILLIAMS & married to
EDWARD WILLIAMS(place of birth unknown)
I know that Edward was alive in 1868, but not by 1871 , but i have not been able to
locate him on any of the LLANAFAN FAWR censuses the first record i found of ANN was on the
1871 census for PENTRELLWYNWYD
& she was widdowed by then
Their daughter SARAH was born(abt 1840) & married in LLANAFAN FAWR
I would be greatful if anyone can find ANN & EDWARD WILLIAMS in LLANYRE or
surrounding areas
many many thanks for taking the time to read this
regards
joanne
