In the 1841 Radnor census I have the following entry:
Cefnllys Hundred
Townships of Trefonen & Trelowgoed in the Parish of Cefnllys
DAVIES, Thomas, 45, Farmer, Y, Cwmgwin, f4/p2
DAVIES, Jane, 45, Y, Cwmgwin, f4/p2
DAVIES, Edward, 15, Y, Cwmgwin, f4/p2
DAVIES, James, 14, Y, Cwmgwin, f4/p2
DAVIES, John, 7, Y, Cwmgwin, f4/p2
DAVIES, Sarah, 15, Y, Cwmgwin, f4/p2
According to later censuses it would seem that Thomas was born in Nantmel & in the
BT"s of Nantmel I have found this
Thomas & David, sons of Richard & Ann Davies baptised Dec 12 1794 (Thomas being
about 5 yrs)
Can anyone suggest how I can find out if the two Thomas's are one & the same?
