I have never been to that part of the country but I have heard from my
husband it is beautiful.

My wife and myself are checking the gravestones in Gladestry churchyard,
originally recorded by Jean Oldham in the 1980's.
2 stones at the monent contain Wanklin details.

THOMAS WANKLIN of this village (Innholder)
Died 27th November 1834 in the 66th year of his age
MARTHA his wife died March 13 1849 in the 70th year of her age
B53 Headstone Sandstone Urn dec
SARAH WANKLIN eldest daughter of THOMAS and MARTHA of this village
She died 5th June 1838 aged 30 years
