I couldn't help noticing that you have a gt grandmother who was
born in Llanbister, and a Richard Lewis who emigrated to Canada -
Toronto area - first of all.
There is probably no connection, but I have a John Hamer Greenwood
who emigrated to Whitby, Toronto in 1850 - to join his uncle there -
a John Hamer. They both came from Llanbister!! - so it's possible
your relative(s) could have passed by/called in! before migrating
further.....?
Whitby is/was a small town near to Toronto.

Angie,
I have no idea except I think somewhere in Wales. Both my gr
grandparents were in Radnorshire before they left for the states. My
gr. grandmother was born in Llanbister. The Georges left around
1854/55. Richard Lewis left around mid 1860's. I have no other info on
them except my gr. grandmother's obit and death certificate from
Beatrice, NE. There are no dates given on the old pedigree chart that
someone in the family had made so there is really nothing that can be
documented. Richard Lewis went to the Toronto area and then to
Wisconsin. The Georges went to WI and were there till 1870's when they
moved to York Co. Nebraska. Lots of missing details. I do have a Gage
Co. History book that was printed in 1885 so that is where some of my
info came from.

Hi
Where abouts are 'your' Merediths from? I have a few that are
scattered around - could you please share a few names and dates and
I'll see if we match up somewhere.
