Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hi All,
Rootsweb lists are not supposed to be used for virus warnings, but I am
making an exception for this one.
There is a very new virus masquerading as a Microsoft security update. It
appears to come from Microsoft, and at first glance appears genuine. It
even refers you to the correct part of the Microsoft web site to check its
provenance (although it's not actually mentioned there, of course.)
For Macafee users, it is describe at
http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/V-99377.htm
I don't think it's especially nasty, but it could be easily believed.
Cheers,
Malcolm

Hi John. I am Don and we touched before. I linked to you from my Radnorshire
website. I greatly enjoy old pictures; like old things in general, history,
cars, my wife<grin>
Do you plan to have a page for Radnorshire only?
It's hard to do, but I like to connect with a person into genealogy who
lives in Radnorshire (area) or at least in Wales, to work on some special
projects.
Have a good week end.
Don
