Hi David,
I think it may be that the Idloes you are referring to is the Church of St.
Idloes, Llanidloes and it is the Baptism/Christening records that is
referred to rather than a dwelling.
Regards,
Margaret Harvey

Subject: ROBERTS FAMILY
> HI
> in my line is a RICHARD ROBERTS born abt 1769 and married to ANNE DAVIES
born abt 1773 in Llanidloes, MGY on 20 Sep 1794. Their children were
RICHARD b/chr 10 Aug 1799, JOHN b/chr 22 May 1802, ANNE b/chr 13 Oct
1804
and ELIZABETH b/chr 30 Jun 1810. All of the children and both
parents
were
said to be born at IDLOES, LLANIDLOES. A friend gave me access to
the
1851
MGY Census and I carefully went through the Llanidloes section but
could
find no reference to IDLOES. Can anyone help , is it a house or a farm
name
or is it a district? I would also be grateful if someone could take
the
family back a generation or supply any further info
