Yvonne,
I assume you're confident that it was their *1st* son who was born in 1859
so their marriage would've been 1858 or 1859 in Machynlleth, as well? Have
you confirmed the 1859 son was the first? If you've narrowed it down to the
probable window of years and parish, you should be able to order the
marriage certificate, as well. It would help greatly if you knew either of
their fathers' names or where they lived prior to their marriage. For
instance, have you found either of them before marriage with their families
in the 1851 census?
