Hi Barbara Ann
Al I can think of is that it could be Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant in
Montgomeryshire. The ym-Mochnant is often missed off. The rhaea is
pronounced rye and the dr is der or ar least that is the way I say it.
It is near the Shropshire border just south west of Oswestry and north west
of Shrewsbury. It is a lovely area, I haven't been there for years but I
think there were a lot of Welsh speaking people around that part.
There is also a Llanrhaeadr in Denbighshire.
I hope the above helps.
Regards,
Margaret Harvey

Hello,
Can someone give any information this place? I think there is another
spelling. in Welsh. I have relatives that state this as their place of
birth. Does the place still exist? Thank you!
Regards
