Dear Ann,
Might I suggest you subscribe to the Powys mailing list which is the main list covering
the 3 counties of Breconshire, Radnorshire & Montgomeryshire and repost your query
there? List activity on the county lists has slowed significantly in recent months and
most people with overlapping interests in this area have remained active on the Powys
list. We're encouraging everyone to join us there so as to reach a wider pool of
fellow researchers who are eager to help, including several researchers concentrating on
Trefeglwys and Llandinam and probably others working on Woosnam.
Here is the website which includes all details for the Powys list:

Subject: [WLS-MGY] Woosnam
Hello listers.
Does anyone out there have interests in the Woosnam family of Landinam and Trefeglwys
in the early 1800s?
I have quite extensive information about the family that I am from but I'm stuck
with a slight problem. My GGGrandfather was Francis Woosnam b 1808 in Llandinam. Several
of us are trying to establish who his parents were. We think that his father (Francis b
1774)was married twice.Ist marriage was to Mgt Thomas in Llangurig in 1796. We think she
must have died but have no proof of this, and married again to Sarah Thickens in Dec 1820.
My family are from his first marriage but are having great difficulty in establishing
this.
Has anyone out there got any knowledge of all this??
Many thanks.
Ann.
