Sue,
I looked for your WALTERS family in the 1851 Census for Montgomeryshire (CD
pub. by Powys FHS) and there are absolutely no entries for anyone with that
surname in/around Newtown in 1851 nor in the Montgomery enumeration
district. Perhaps they spent a few years away from Montgomeryshire after
the birth of Walter WALTERS in 1844.
It seems you have a great deal on this family -- can you clarify exactly
what you're looking for? Have you checked the Bishop's Transcripts for
Aberystwyth St. Michael's or Llanbadarn Fawr parish churches for Nathaniel's
baptism? Do you have a birth parish for Mary Ann HAMER/EDMUNDS? Have you
already located their marriage? Alternatively, are you looking for living
descendants of the family members you've listed?
Regards,
Julie Preston
