Dear Lists,
I received the following information from Tom Gerard tomandyo(a)tiscali.co.uk -- is there
anyone who might be able to provide him with the 1841 Census entry (Llanfair Caereinion)
for his ROWLANDS family or offer him any additional information? I was able to provide
him with the MI's for Elias and two of their children who died before 1841 from the
Llanfair C. MI's (pub. by MGS).
Please reply to Tom directly and to the list.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

There is an entry in Pigots Directory of North Wales, for Llanfair

In the 1861 census the family is in Newtown. 80 Bridge Street.

My Greatgrandmother Mary Rowlands married Samuel Morris in Hordley

I have seen pictures of Cil- haul on the web
http://www.myisp.freeserve.co.uk/main.asp but have not been able to contact
anyone yet.
I live in Lancashire and so do not have any contact with the area but I
have seen your name on the Powys FHS and I would be fascinated to hear if
there is any more information available. I wonder if you or anyone has
access to the 1841 census for Llanfair.
Thanking you very much in anticipation of any news.
Kind regards
Tom Gerard
