Rose,
I don't have your Samuel FARMER in my family tree but you should be able to
track his mother's family, at least. You cited a baptism entry found by
Powys Archives -- did that baptism occur in Welshpool or elsewhere?

Subject: Samuel Farmer
Samuel Farmer is said in the 1851 and 1861 censuses,
to have been born in Welshpool in 1810.
Does he fit into anyone's tree.
The only the Powys Archives can find is:-
Samuel Farmer baptised 1st May 1814. Base son of Elizabeth Farmer and
Joseph Hool
Durnont?Dumont,
a French prisoner.
Samuel is known to have been in Marylebone, London
in 1851 a Domestic Servant.
By 1861 he has moved to Canterbury. Where he died in
1867.
He married Elizabeth Elliot sometime before 1848.
Any help appreciated.
