Mary,
There's only 1 CORRIE family in the 1851 Census in all of Montgomeryshire,
landed proprietors living at Dysserth Hall -- I've included the details of
Dysserth Farm, as well, as it undoubtedly was part of the CORRIE holdings.
Since this John's middle name is DAVIES, possibly he was a son of the couple
who married at Welshpool in 1795 -- bride was a DAVIES. The daughter in
this family may have been named for the Mary Ann who died in 1838 (born
about the same time) -- maybe a sister of John's?

Subject: [WLS-MGY] CORRIE
I am interested in the CORRIE name in Montgomery, having found the
following reference:
Welsh Marriage Bonds Llanelwy/St Asaph 1751-1800
CORRIE, John, bach., St. Mary's, Lambeth, SRY. 1795, Apr 14. At Welshpool,
MGY.
Susannah Davies. A,B. 127/50.
My CORRIE ancestors were baptised at St Mary's Lambeth and I'd love to
know
if anyone has a connection to this John and Susannah (I can't work out
exactly where this John might fit into my tree - but hopefully he's the one
I've got down as "Christian name unknown"!)
Free BMD has the following entries:
Deaths Dec 1838
CORRIE, Mary Ann; Montgomery, vol 27, p 72
Deaths Dec 1844
CORRIE, Susann; Montgomery, vol 27, p _5
Marriages June 1878
CORRIE, William Malcolm, Atcham, vol. 6a, p 1180
Hoping to hear,
Mary
