It's actually best to work *backward* in time and obtain all available
documentation. For instance, do you have David Henry JONES' marriage
certificate? If so, his father's (and the bride's father's) name and
occupation will be stated, as well as the residence(s) of David and the
bride. If you haven't, I suggest you do so before proceeding further.
Do you have any house/farm name in Caersws associated with this family?
You can write directly to the Supt. Registrar's Office in Newtown,
Montgomeryshire, Powys (See GENUKI pages under "Civil Registration" for
details and address), and order his birth certificate, although I believe
it's best to wait until you have the marriage certificate as there may be
too many possibilities -- he may not have been registered, for instance,
with the middle name of Henry, although it's possible.
