Brenda,
Presumably you're after the Cardiganshire end of things, so suggest you
subscribe to the Dyfed mailing list -- DYFED-L-Request(a)rootsweb.com Someone
may have the Egerton marriage you need in the Dyfed marriage indexes.
(There's also a WLS-CARDIGANSHIRE list, but there's more activity at present
on the regional Dyfed list, which includes Cardiganshire.)
Regards,
Julie Preston

Subject: Egerton Family
Hi everyone--I am new to this list --I am interested in the EGERTON
name
William b c 1805. m about 1826 to Ann? they had 2 children John b c 1828
&
Catherine b c1830-in Cardigan.---I cannot find the records as yet
They lived for a long time in Cardiganshire & Catherine m Peter Williams b
Halkyn Flint. in 1853 in Cardigan.----about 1860 they moved to Flint.--They
had about 5 sons all b in Card. & 4 b in Flint--the latter all died---All
the boys seem to have been given the Egerton name as a 2nd name.
If anyone has any info on this line I would appreciate it -I live a
5hour
round trip from my nearest LDS which makes researching difficult.
Thanking You
Brenda
