As newcomer to the list I ought to introduce myself - or at very least
declare my "interests". Basically I am doing something in the nature of a
one-name study on families bearing the surnames SANDEMAN, SANDIMAN,
SANDIEMAN & SANDYMAN, and any & all information on these would be be very
gratefully received and acknowledged.
In particular I wonder if I can beg of look-up or check on the MIs for
Llanfyllin, if these have been transcribed? FreeBMD leads me to believe
that a SANDEMAN family lurked there in the second half of the 1800s, and
that at least one of the family probably died there in 1893 - and was maybe
buried there? He may have been the son of the William Sandeman who was
married there in 1880 . . . ?
If anyone on the list is after SAND*MANs I do hope they'll ask, for I have
a great deal of information to share.
Regards
Don Montague
