I'm embarrassed to admit this but I wasn't thorough this morning and am now
eating my words, "How many men named
John RIM(M)ER who were also gamekeepers...?"
I decided to take a second look at 1881 and found the entry below. It
appears that if one's surname was RIMMER, he were likely to be a gamekeeper
and I was soooo wrong! :-) You can see here that John's brother, Thomas,
and his wife were also living with them and Thomas is a gamekeeper, as well.
I would look for the family in 1891 in the same area where William Herbert
was born. I wonder if Jeannette was a sister of Jane's -- both born same
place.

I will now try to get access to the 1891 census for Shropshire and
Montgomeryshire to see if I can find a 4 year old William Herbert.
