Hi Annie,
I suspect this is the farm (with a slight error in the transcription,
perhaps). It's the only possibility in MGY in 1881 that I could find using
"Advanced Options" in the search and there's a family of HUGHES there:

Subject: [WLS-MGY] Looking for a farm in Momtgomeryshire
In the Marion County, OH 1883 History, it mentions an Evan Hughes who
was
born 9 Dec 1837 in Montgomeryshire, North Wales, the son of David and
Mary
(Evans) Hughes who emigrated to the USA in 1838 and settled in Radnor
Township,
Delaware County, OH. Both of his parents died young. It mentions his
mother's
family - the Evans. That they lived on a farm called Nant j Deffaid which
must
be Nant y Deffaid. Does anyone know where that farm would be located in
Montgomeryshire, if indeed it is located in this county. I know that is
not a
parish.
Thank you.
Annie
