H. Thomas; came to U.S. from her native town of Taff's Well, Glamorganshire, South
Wales; survived by her husband and son, Henry.
2. William S. DAVIS, Died 21 Mar 1887, Danville, PA, USA: Age 78; born in
Glamorganshire, South Wales in 1809; emigrated to U.S. in 1839; wife died 16 years before;
survived by two sons , W.C. Davis of Danville, and Daniel S. Davis, of Kingston.
3. Thomas L. MORGAN, Died 22 Apr 1887, Edwardsville, PA, USA: (Date of death assumed
since article does not mention exactly when he died.) Age 56; died from injuries he
received by being crushed between cars near the breaker; native of Aberdare, Wales;
emigrated to U.S. a quarter of a century ago; survived by his widow and two adult sons,
John J. Morgan, bookkeeper with Edwards & Co., and Thomas Morgan, outside foreman of
No. 4 colliery.
