Dear Michael E.Gavin
I am a native of Dyffryn Ardudwy (Llanenddwyn)but now reside
outside the distrcit. I visited Horeb Chapel cemetery last evening and
recorded memorial inscriptions on Mary Jones's sister's headstone, namely
Ann CADWALADR. for another member of Gwynedd Family History Society, who is
researching a particular branch of the family. Bear with me and I will
endeavour to put you in touch with a particular person, a descendant.
Gwyndaf Williams. Gwynedd Family History Society.

Subject: [MER] Mary Jones - Egryn chapel - Revival in North Wales 1905
Is anyone researching this Mary Jones? She was associated with the
Religious Revival of 1904/1905 and the "phenomenon of the lights". Her
home was Islawrffordd.
She was born abt. 1869 and died 21 Jan 1936. She was married to Richard
Jones who died 20 Nov 1909 (DOB: abt 1859). A son, Robert Jones, died
11 July 1895 aged 6 yr 10 months. They are all buried at Horeb chapel,
Llanenddwyn.
I am trying to figure out how she fits in with my family. Mary Jones
was supposedly an aunt to a Jane Owen (parents David Owen and Jane
Ellis). Jane Owen married John R. Williams ("Curly Jack") and they
lived near Bristol, Minnesota. Jane and John Williams are buried in
Lime Springs, Iowa.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone connected to this Mary Jones.
