Cwmavar, Wales; survived by children: Mrs. D.B. Williams, of Nanticoke; Mrs. Joe Harris,
Mrs. Owen Jones and Mrs. Owen Morgan, of Plymouth.
2. Thomas LOUCHER, Date of Death Not Given, Washington Territory: Native of Llansamlet,
Wales; his partner, Mr. Thomas Jenkins, died last August in Carbonado, Washington
Territory [posted to Wales-Gen 18 Feb 2003]; death caused by malarial fever; survived by
a wife and several children in the old country; Mr. Rosser Bodycomb, of this city, is a
nephew of the deceased.
3. Matthew DAVIS, Died 11 Jun 1889, Plymouth, PA, USA: Age 40; native of Merthyr, Wales;
injured in the Nottingham mine, No. 15, L.&W. Coal Co.; died in Wilkes-Barre Hospital
same night; survived by a wife and five children. "The Excelsior Glee Club, of which
he was a member, sang several selections."
