I wonder if SKS with access to the 1891 Census covering Llanaber,
Merionethshire, would check for the family of Owen Parry aged 47 born
Llanfaelog, Anglesey. I would appreciate any information on his family.
Many Thanks.

Hello Roger,
Sorry for taking so long to reply to your first letter about this family.
They have left Glandwr by 1891, the house being occupied by an Evan Williams
and his wife Barbara and they are no longer to be found in the parish of
Llanaber. The parish of Llanaber is centred on the town and port of Barmouth,
however Glandwr is near the town of Dolgellau and the village of Llanelltyd
than it is to Barmouth, so I checked them too, but failed to find your family
there.
The index to the 1901 census has the following people listed in what is
probably a family group (going by the ID numbers):
Name | Age | Born | Census Place | Occupation
Jennie Parry | 23 | Bannortle N Wales | Holyhead Urban | Waitress Domes |
35188528
Elizabeth Parry | 51 | Barmoutle N Wales| Holyhead Urban | 35188534
John Parry | 15 | Holyhead Anglesey| Holyhead Urban | Hawker Repairer |
35188535
Henry Parry | 12 | Holyhead Anglesey| Holyhead Urban | 35188536
Richard Parry | 9 | Holyhead Anglesey| Holyhead Urban | 35188537
Barmoutle and Bannortle, are probably mis transcriptions of Barmouth, so this
could be your Owen's wife with some additional children born since 1881. As
the new kids were born before 1891 in Holyhead, it looks like the family
might be found there in 1891.
all the best
Alwyn
