To add to Patricia's comments; apart from the Archive office in the Old
Board School, there is an Archive Access Point in Colwyn Bay Library, which
is open 6 days a week. The access point has copies of the parish registers
and census returns for those places now in Conwy county which were in
Denbighshire prior to 1974, this includes Capel Garmon and Llanrwst. A
similar service operates in Llandudno Library for those parts of Conwy
formerly in Caernarfonshire, such as Dolwyddelan, Llanfairfechan etc.
All the best
Alwyn

Hello Gwenda,
The archives office at the Old Board School in Llandudno is open Monday,
Tuesday and Wedenesday only. From 10-12.30 and 1.30-4.30. You only need to
book if you want to use the fische machines. The web address is below.
I go to the archives about a couple of times a month for the day, so if you
are stuck let me know and I shall try to help!

If you are going to the Archives you will find the building by going about
half way down Mostyn Street and turning onto Lloyd Street where you will see
the town hall on your right. Continue down this street as if you are leaving
the town. The Old Board school is on the left hand side., and has parking.
Hwyl,
Patricia
