Hi Maggi,
THANKS for your reply. I did post the results of the 1841 and 1851
censuses on the message board but some of it was scrambled with multiple
A's making it hard to read.
My 3 great grandfather, Rowland JONES, born in 1793, was a miller and
lived by the Dysynni River in Mid-Wales.
Cheers,

Hello
Have you got the family on any of the census returns? What was Rowland's
occupation?
Regards
Maggi (Blythin)
Hi Jan,
I would be interested to see more of your family as I have EVANS, GRIFFITH,
ROWLANDS, PUGH, RICHARD from Llanegryn, Llangelynin and Tywyn. I believe
the Rowlands had a Jones connection. David Rowlands married Jane ? and in
the 1841 census they had daughters Mary, 5, Elizabeth, 5, Margaret 3 and
Jane 4 months. I believe they later had Ellen b. 1842 who died in 1848.
Living with them was Mary Jones 71. In 1861 grandsons Edmund and Richard
Jones both aged 2 (born Talyllyn) are in the household.
I would like to ascertain the parents of Edmund and Richard but so far have
been unable to do so. Also who was Mary Jones?
best wishes,
Pam
