An interesting aspect is that Abraham was killed (yr hwn a gladdwyd)
in contrast to the more frequent mere dieing like Rees (yr hwn a fu
farw). What killed him, I wonder?
And I think 'lefyd ei chwaer' should read 'hefyd ei chwaer' ('also
his sister', as you have clearly gathered).

I have a copy of the St Twrog church memorial inscriptions.
There are two entries which may be of relevance here.
Plot B058
(Carreg las)
Coffaduriaeth / am / ABRAHAM / mab REES a JANE MORRIS, / Pant
y Clegar / yr hwn a gladdwyd Mehefin 19, 1873 / yn 29 mlwydd
o'i oed. /
llefyd ei chwaer / ELIZABETH MORRIS / a fu farw Mawrth 5, 1907 /
yn 78 mlwydd oed.
Plot B135
(Carreg las)
Er cof / am / REES MORRIS, / Pant y clegar, / yr hwn a fu farw
Tach. 25aian, 1878 / yn 76 mlwydd oed. / Hefyd am / JANE
MORRIS /
gwraig y dywededig uchod / yr hon a fu farw Ion'r 29 ain, 1882 /
yn 82 mlwydd oed.
I'm not up the task of translating all the inscription but it would
seem that Elizabeth is sister to Abraham despite the 15 yr
difference in their births (1929-1944) and Rees and Jane both died
before the 1881 census.
The 1881 census contains the following entry:-
Llofft Yr Efail, Maentwrog RG11 Piece 5552, Folio 36 page 8
JANE MORRICE Head W 83 b.Llanelltyd Formly(sic) Farmars Wife
ELIZABETH MORRICE Daur U 50 b.Maentwrog, Landeres(sic)
Hope that this is of some help.
