Llanrwst isn't in Merionethshire, it is in Denbighshire. One of the problems
with Welsh place names is that many of them look quite similar, especially
when they are barely legible. On which census entry did you find the
reference? If it was an English or Welsh one between 1861 and 1901 many list
members have access to the Ancestry on-line census and I'm sure would be
very willing to check the entry to see if different eyes make a different
interpretation of what's written
All the best

Pwnc/Subject: [MER] Robert Roberts - Llanrwst
Dear Listers
I am trying to trace the origins of Robert Roberts. A barely legible
census entry shows him coming from Llanrwst, Merionethshire. He married
Emily Ward from Cookham, Berkshire and was a schoolteacher. Has anyone come
across this family?
Sheila
