Dyfi Bridge is still the name of a distinct settlement of houses just north
of the Dyfi. There are about six houses in a terrace, the chapel which was
converted into a house about five to ten years ago, and one house perched
perilously between the main road and the river.

Alwyn,
What an interesting picture of one of the southernmost parishes in the
'old' county! Does Dyfi Bridge in the 1901 census refer to the area
north of the railway bridge?
Thank you for drawing attention to the transcriptions and a vote of
thanks to Peter Davies for his hard work in transcribing and making them
available.
